PV + ESS plan sets
Sealed drawing packages built to NEC, FBC, NFPA 855 and ASCE 7 — site plan, layout, one-line, riser, calculations and placards.
Florida Solar PV Design Engineering
PE-sealed photovoltaic and battery storage design for contractors across Florida. No middleman and no offshore drafting desk — you talk directly to the engineer who stamps your set.
01 / Capabilities
Residential retrofits to essential-facility commercial arrays. Every set is drawn, calculated, checked and sealed in-house.
Sealed drawing packages built to NEC, FBC, NFPA 855 and ASCE 7 — site plan, layout, one-line, riser, calculations and placards.
Submittal-ready packages for Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe and the Keys. I answer reviewer comments and revise until the permit is approved.
FPL, Keys and municipal applications — load calculations, main-bus derates, meter and main upgrades.

Residential
Full-slope all-black array on a Miami-Dade residence, clamped to standing-seam without a single roof penetration.
Drawing
Seven circuits of Hoymiles microinverters into a 200 A combiner, surge protection and a line-side tap at the existing service.
Drawing
Twenty-three separate module rows across a complex roof, each row tagged with module and mount counts for the install crew.
03 / The engineer
I’m Eduardo Rodriguez, a Florida Professional Engineer, Electrical Contractor and NABCEP PV Design Specialist.
I began as an installer, moved into CAD design, and today I engineer residential and commercial PV and battery systems across Florida. Over the past decade I’ve delivered more than 4,000 permitted projects — from custom off-grid systems to public facilities including the University of Miami and Pinecrest Town Hall.
Because I’ve installed what I now draw, my sets are built to be read on a roof, not just filed at a counter.
04 / Coverage
Every marker is a permitted installation. The density in Miami-Dade and Broward is why local reviewers rarely surprise me.

05 / How it works
Address, scope, equipment list and survey photos. That is usually enough for me to scope the job accurately.
