Eduardo Rodriguez reviewing a plan set at his desk

03 / The engineer

I started on the roof. It shows in the drawings.

I’m Eduardo Rodriguez, a Florida Professional Engineer, Electrical Contractor and NABCEP PV Design Specialist.

I began as an installer, moved into CAD design, and today I engineer residential and commercial PV and battery systems across Florida. Over the past decade I’ve delivered more than 4,000 permitted projects — from custom off-grid systems to public facilities including the University of Miami and Pinecrest Town Hall.

Because I’ve installed what I now draw, my sets are built to be read on a roof, not just filed at a counter.

More about my background

04 / Coverage

Ten years of pins on the same map.

Every marker is a permitted installation. The density in Miami-Dade and Broward is why local reviewers rarely surprise me.

05 / How it works

Four steps, no chasing.

STEP 01

Share the basics

Address, scope, equipment list and survey photos. That is usually enough for me to scope the job accurately.

STEP 02

Quote and timeline

A fixed proposal with a clear schedule. Draft typically lands within 24 to 48 hours.

Fixed price — no hourly surprises
STEP 03

Review and refine

You mark up the draft, I turn the edits fast. Direct phone access to me, not to a project coordinator.

STEP 04

Seal and submit

PE-sealed, permit-ready PDF, wet stamp if your AHJ needs one. I handle reviewer comments until the permit is approved.

Revisions until approval

What I need from you at each step

Send me the address and the equipment list.

I’ll come back with a fixed price and a date. Most drafts are on your screen within two business days.
